It is very recommended that you clean your rattan outdoor furniture at least once a month. If you can do so more frequently then this is even better. All you need to do is mix water with a mild detergent to create the perfect substance for cleaning your rattan furniture. You can do a general wash with a cloth.

However, you do should get into all of the grooves to where the rattan has been woven. The greatest way to do this is with a small brush - in fact a toothbrush will work brilliantly.

I do not own such outdoor furniture but I do know that outdoor furniture can get quite dirty so cleaning it frequently would be quite beneficial.
