A few days ago I updated the forum software to the newest version. The update wasn't quite compatible with one of the modifications I had on here and it took a couple days to get someone to help me correct the code.
But It's all straightened out now... everything seems to be working how it should and we have the latest version of the software.

I found this because I was looking at some chickens on a website.

You looked like you had a Bible Study and I checked in,
Don't know how much I will be on. It's my husbands computer and he uses it most of the time.
He's not too crazy about Bible studies so i may just look without replying most of the time

the house is cold tonight, crazy weather, but it is quiet now. so I thought I would write
husband has been in a foul mood this week so I really haven't been on line much. but he's sleeping soundly now.
so, do you have chickens at your house? I always wanted a few. But wasn't sure how much work is involved in raising them.
Do you have a big family to help you eat the eggs?
I think it's bed time. It is too chilly to type.

I have one rooster right now, along with a rabbit and two doves. My life is kind of uncertain right now and I don't have the money to keep up with them... I had more but I found homes for them already.

I have a question about marriage.
I would like to go to church but my husband is very much against it. He spends most of his time either outside with friends fishing and hunting or at home here on the computer. I really don't have any friends. So i am mostly here by myself.
Do you think it is wrong for me to go to Church and not tell him or should I just not go. I can't seem to feel the same way about hearing sermons on line. I don't want to be a disobedient wife but I am really lonely.
Forgive me if this is an inapropriate topic. just let me know and i won't post like this again.

I am not a pastor but I talked with a pastor friend of mine and he agreed on some things with me.

The first thing I'd like to ask is how against it is he? Does he simply not like church? Does he not want to go himself? Has he told you he'd rather you not go? Or has he flat out TOLD you that you cannot go?
If he has not told you directly that he forbid you to go, I think it would be worth trying to discuss with him more. I have known several women who go to church without their husbands, and their husbands are okay with it.
But if he has told you that you were not allowed to go, that would be a different situation and a lot more difficult to approach.

Any information on the situation would help me offer advice, or seek advice from others if need be.
If there's anything you need to discuss that you'd rather not say in public, you can send me a private message if you'd like.
I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction so I will be very careful in the advice I offer, and I will be praying for the situation.

husband is sleeping. i can't seem to sleep tonight, his snoring is loud after he drinks.
Well he said no to church. So I guess that's final. I wouldn't be able to get there anyhow. He said If i wanted to get out of the house so bad I should find a job. At least it would help pay the bills. then he can go hunting more and work part time. but he was mad. At least he hit the wall this time instead of me or the dog. i guess it wasn't the right time to ask. You would think I could tell after all these years.
oh well. He's not a bad guy, but he can't help his crazy temper sometimes.
Enough about me.

Well Katie, I don't want to get involved in what is going on at home with you but if you ever want someone to talk to about it, I know someone that would be great to talk to.

And sorry I haven't replied yet. I've been busy and tired... and at my friend's house for a while.
As far as your questions...
I don't do anything to earn a living at the moment. I spent a little over 6 years being a stay at home dad. Haven't had a job in a while... but right now I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do for money...

I'm married with four kids... but, my wife and kids are in South Carolina right now. Not sure if they'll come back... long story...

I have a rooster and a rabbit... I used to have more but I don't have the money to feed them... I also have a ten gallon tank where my daughter and I keep bugs and stuff... that's fun...

hobbies... I like bugs and animals... I collect coins... and I like photographing nature...
