I think everyone should be doing green smoothies! Mix a small amount of fruit with as many leafy greens as you can. A little bit of water.
It helps if you have a powerful blender, like a Vita-Mix.
I believe everyone should try to have at least one-a-day. It's an easy quick way to get your greens.
Nature's fast food.
Cheers.

Re: Green Smoothies
Hmm, I should try that. We drink some berry smoothies but I imagine they'd taste just as good with a few veggies in them. It'd be a good way to sneak a few veggies in for the kids too. My son can be picky about some foods.

Thanks for sharing. I will try it out. I believe that fruit adds taste to green smoothies. Till now I was using green supplements and some home made tasteless green drinks. I am surely going to try a fruity green drink.
Re: Green Smoothies
I only just recently got into smoothies. Anyone got any tips, secret ingrediants or something like that?

Hi MarcellusPla.
Flag says USA, IP address suggests otherwise... email address is questionable. So, curious whether or not you're a real person interested in the site as we have a LOT of people join, post something related, that are just here to spam links. Time will tell.
There are no secrets to smoothies in my opinion as everyone likes different things. We usually start with frozen berries. Some of us like pineapple, some don't. Just think of any fruits you like and drop them in. If they're frozen already(easy and cheap to get frozen berries) you don't need to add ice. If you want some other vitamins you can add in some veggies and how much depends on how much you like the veggies and how sweet you want it.
experimenting is part of the fun.
