I may end up with another section for other recipes, IF there was a call for it... but I'd like to keep this section with healthy recipes... and when I say healthy, I mean really healthy.
Though I don't always follow my own diet perfectly(and diet doesn't meant trying to lose weight, just a way of eating), I do try hard to eat as naturally as possible...
I can't think of the guys name at the moment, but he said it best when he said "if God didn't make it, I don't eat it...".
For the most part my wife and I are vegans, but we do eat fish as well. I haven't completely overcome my chocolate addiction, but I'm working on it.
We don't use anything artificial in our cooking and recipes. No sugars, no hydrogenated oils, only sea salt when salt is needed, etc...
Next time your looking at a label on a food item, see how many ingredients you can actually pronounce...
One of my favorite commercials is for Orange Juice. This guy walks through a lab where people are making sports drinks, he lists some weird ingredients, then lists the ingredients for orange juice:fresh air, sunshine, etc...
Point is, a lot of foods these days are made in a lab somewhere, that thought should scare you...
If you've read this far, thanks...
I'd really like to keep these recipes as healthy as possible... If you have a not so healthy recipe that you just "have" to share, I'd prefer if it was posted in the "porch talk" section... Thanks.

You may notice I'm changing things a bit. You will now see 7 SUB forums for the eating healthy section. Those sub-forums are for posting healthy recipes in. The rest of this section that you see below the sub-forums is for the general discussion of eating healthy.
This should help keep things a bit more organized.
