But... I'm putting some work into it now(again) hoping to make it interesting enough, maybe I can liven things up a bit? It will take time and effort... and some days, I honestly don't think I have what it takes to run something like this... I'm not a salesperson and, I'm not popular so convincing more and more people they "need" to come here is a difficult task.
With all that rambling said... with a spec of hope inside, I'm doing what work I can, when I can. got the main page looking okay... got a bunch of other pages I still need to build that will include some playlists for people to listen to, a bible search tool, even some games to play.
Here on the forums I've added back a chat... if things ever get busy here(IF) that might be fun for people. I also added the ability to use the @ symbol to sort of tag someone... Added back the flags... A big feature is the social log-in that I still need to add a few more services to so people can both register and login here using something like their facebook login to save time.

I may have an image hosting extension added so people can post images directly here but the images will be hosted somewhere else like imgur. I need to weigh those options before I pick one, I think...
And... ads. I think it will be a LONG time before(and if) I can get enough activity here to actually earn anything. Had ads up for years and only accumulated $6.70 which I had to abandon because I needed to try and keep everything on one account... long story. But, you don't get paid from adsense til you earn $100... that's a long way off but, IF it happens some day, I got to try and make a few dollars somewhere. So, that's why those are there.
Speaking of which... adsense TRIES to place ads that are relevant. That needs some work. If you see ads that you don't think should be here let me know. IF I can block them, I will. It seems, however, that not all ads that show up will actually be listed for me to block as they're ads that google might have tailored to you specifically.

Again, I'll block what I can block and I'll try to review them often enough but if you see something odd, let me know.
Sometimes even analyzing content isn't effective... since there are some aspects of the forum that involve God and prayer and such, there's been a few ads for the book of mormon. I find it interesting that they pay to advertise on google's adsense... but, I'm blocking them as for 1, I'm not mormon and 2, I wouldn't want advertising for specific sects of Christianity. Ads involving bibles and good teaching I may leave up but I'll analyze whatever shows up to make sure it's something I'd be comfortable having displayed to our users here.
