I'm hoping to get my sister to join, as well as others. Anyone that is actively involved in missions. This section of the forum will be for them to post updates on what they're doing.
This section is setup so that only people in the Missions group can start a topic, but once started all registered members are welcome to reply to posts.

Re: Purpose
That will be a great experience for you. Short term missions are awesome. I haven't met many people that it didn't affect in one way or another.
I've been to DC, Venezuela, and Uganda twice. Went to Brazil once too but that didn't work out like planned.
It will be a great growing experience.
When it gets a little closer, or whenever, if you want I could put you in the missions group and you could post about your trip and prayer needs, etc...
If you want.

Re: Purpose
Thatd be great! Ive done mission work in Arizona, New Mexico, Ukraine and then Niceragua...
That is so true... Its kind of a good feeling when you know it has touched your life in some way... There is only one thing i dont like about short mission trips... You get enough time to get to know them and then you have to leave.... Thats always been tough... For me anyway... I cant wait to go and will hopefully get some pictures!
