Haha i had to break the ground for the garlic without a plow and boy was that a pain... Then the leaves come and it shades the place i have the garlic Beautiful flowers!

I STILL haven't been able to plant yet! It has been raining so much lately that the ground is too muddy to plant! Today was really nice and sunny, but it didn't dry up enough...

A good hint nikki what i did was wait until the forcast said it was going to rain and then plant the flowers! Its saves water and you dont have to waste time watering them... That made it much easier when i had planted the garlic... I still have to plant my tomatoes and broccolli...

Yeah, that would save water...maybe on my next afternoon off of work I'll be able to plant

You could also use rain water to save water. We collect and use rain water for some things.

Thats a good idea. i never thought of that! Just planted some tomatoes and broccolli!

Last year we saved our bath water and poured it around trees and plants...we didn't use it on the vegetable garden, but it helped out the ornamental trees anyway.

Many flowers have come and gone already, but we still have more signs of Spring to come...

It's getting greener and greener every day!!!! So refreshing after a cold, drab winter
