a flower

Postby millipede » Wed Mar 05, 2008 4:01 pm

Well, I'm not sure what kind it is. I have a few other pictures, but none of them were spectacular. It was REALLY windy the day I found these. Or, my daughter found them really.

Wow what a beautiful flower!! I don't know what kind it is either...I've never seen one before. :|

My daughter had picked one while I was trying to move that tire... I was telling her she shouldn't have since there might not have been many of them. Then I looked up the hill and saw there were plenty of them.
I'm still not sure what kind they were, but they were growing in the woods.
It's amazing how many interesting plants people might miss when they're not looking.

This flower is the White Trout Lily! It spreads through the roots, though that can take years to occur.

Thanks for the post Alice... I like Lilies of the valley as well.
