Sounds of Spring

Do you have a favorite?
I'm sitting here by the window listening to the spring peepers and toads calling. I love hearing it... I hear a few tree frogs tonight too.
I really wish I had a pond of my own... but at the same time, I'm glad I don't have one TOO close to the house. As much as I love the sound of those amphibians calling, they can be quite loud when you're up close.
I love listening to the birds too of course...

What's your favorite Spring sound?

BIRDS! I love listening to songbirds. Of course, I also like listening to crickets and frogs. :)

I love listening to birds. Yesterday was really warm so I had the windows open... and our feeder is probably less than 10 feet from the window. So it was nice hearing birds all day. I can copy a few bird calls... just a few though.

And I like crickets. not many people like hearing them once they're in their house though
I can make cricket noises too.

They don't bother me that much if they get in the house. Now, if one was under my bed while I was trying to sleep, it might get old.

Thanks for bringing up and OLD topic Jamez. Sorry that you were not really interested in participating in the forum and simply wanted to share spam links. :(
But, I'm glad you like listening to the sound of birds. I love it. We've watched a LOT of birds in the yard this year... :)
