 You definitely need to get some pictures. Thanks for updating.
Quite a personality that Lucy. She was just dying to form some bonds and it sounds like she got them.

I took some pictures yesterday...then realized that I didn't have my SD (Memory) card in. -sigh- So...I'll probably go out tonight when I feed my little menagerie  and get some....as long as she doesn't try to eat the camera lens again. I swear, that lamb will put anything she sees in her mouth! She still has a little tuft on her tail from where we sheared her....maybe she'll stand still long enough for me to get a profile picture of her so y'all can see. She has two little tufts of fur above her eyes that make her look like she has bushy eyebrows, quite funny.

Today when I went out to feed (I must've forgotten to lock the gate well enough) I saw my smaller natural-colored (blackish blue colored) Suffolk ewe lamb running around. So my little brother says: "Tori! Pepper Ann is out!" Because I was on my way to go feed my horses, and when I turned around, there little Lucy was, following her "sister" Pepper. :o

Heheh. Sorry Milli. I've been awfully busy....again. I know it's a lame excuse, but I really have. I refinished a 1889 White Company sewing machine treadle and made a stained glass tabletop for it, and made a frame for it, and I took it to the County Fair's Arts & Crafts judging today. I told the judges and superentindent that I needed to come back after Meats Judging (A&C judging was from 4-8, Meats Judging practice was from 6-9) and move my pieces, because I took a drawing of a Gryphon and a drawing of a cross with barbed wire wrapped around it. When I got back, they had placed Reserve Champion, Grand Champion and Outstanding Entry (Outstanding Entry is the TOP OF THE TOP for each age group, and the Senior Outstanding Entry is the BEST OF THE BEST of the Senior class of the County Fair.) They had placed my table as Senior Outstanding Entry...but, I'm only 12 in 4-H years (age as of Jan. 1) so I'm an INTERMEDIATE. Now, to see this as I do, there are 2 brothers in my 4-H group that ALWAYS do better than I do in livestock shows (sheep and bovine) and usually in A&C too. This year, I 'beat' the oldest one, who is ALWAYS doing good, because they placed me as Outstanding Senior Entry and him as Grand Champion Senior. But, then I was moved down to Intermediate since that was my age group and I ended up beating his little brother too! I WAS QUITE HAPPY WITH MYSELF! Anyway, I ended up booting one of my best friends out of the running for Reserve Champion though because they had already done all the paperwork and everything so they had to rearrange everyone. Oh well.

Maybe after the fair (Aug. 3) I can get some pictures. Lucy will stay with my other two Kahtadin lambs (Latte and Mocha) while the other 4 lambs (Cherrie, Buckwheat, Pepper, and Betty) are at the fair. Then Cherrie, Pepper, and Betty will return to keep Lucy company again.

I put Betty, Pepper, Cherrie, Mocha, Latte, Jag, Jaylene, Delilah, Flapper, Daisy, Rascal, and Dusty (my sheep, goats, and cow) in a pasture with Lucy and she STILL WILL NOT STAY IN THE PASTURE! It's crazy I tell you! She still thinks that she belongs outside, I'm just afraid she'll get hit on the highway, I couldn't lose Lu-Lu Bell like that.

Sorry. LIke I said on PYA, my DSL is extremely slow. >.< urghh....She's been awfully naughty lately. Following Cherrie, Pepper, Betty, Jag, and Rascal out of the pasture. We had to add another strand of electric fencing to the fence.
