shhhh... it's not Spring yet. I'm still waiting for Winter... We had some snow, but not as much as I'd like.

Another day, and the birds haven't found the feeder yet.
I see plenty in the yard. Been seeing more woodpeckers lately. I hope to get lots more bird pictures this year with this new camera.

Milli what kind of food do you have in your feeder? Most birds with color like suet. Not just the red beads and sunflower seeds... That kind of feed is known as junk food and many birds will not eat it... The only birds i have discovered to eat it is doves and pigeons... find some suet food at your store and put that up. That should work...

It is just your typical wild bird seed, it has a mixture of seeds in i.
The birds here will eat it up, once they find it. Normally I will see cardinals, woodpeckers, titmice, juncos, sparrows, nuthatches, and a few others.
For the most part I only feed during the winter. That's the only time birds will usually struggle.
I still see birds landing less than 20 feet from the feeder, still finding things on the ground to eat. SO many weeds = so many seeds. While most people don't like weeds, the wildlife loves it.

I am not sure how I feel about suet, like the ingredients in it. And, it isn't cheap for how much you get. And on top of that..... I tried them once or twice and some other wild animals kept stealing it on me.

nah, don't worry about it. The birds here have no shortage of food, so I'm not worried about that. And I'm not spending more money on feeders when the one I have now works well enough.

Anyway... guess what.........
Once I have one visitor, it wont be long before all the other birds notice it... Well, here she is...

Just took that like 10 minutes ago or so.

Whoa... How far is your feeder from your house? What digital and optical zoom do you have?

Oh, the feeder is maybe 10 feet from the window... something like that anyway. I'll have to measure it.
This is a new camera. It has 10x optical zoom. :D
