My brother sent me a link to a site which I thought was pretty interesting. You enter your zip code and it will give you some reports about your county as far as its environmental impact. It breaks it down into different areas of pollution such as air and water pollution. It compares your county to other counties in the US and you can see what kind of chemicals and such are to blame. The info is a few years old in most cases but is still pretty useful in getting an idea of how polluted your area is and what/who is to blame.
I thought it was interesting enough to share here.
Looking up my own county I am surprised by some of what I read and not so surprised about other parts.
