Prayer request

Postby millipede » Sat Apr 26, 2008 7:49 pm

I just noticed that one of my friends on facebook has the following as her status:
is asking that u pray for her little niece whom was just born but has not been found...

I'm not sure any other details at the moment but I'll fill you in when I get them.
In the meantime, please start praying right away.

Thanks. She hasn't been on facebook since she posted that message Saturday, so I still have no idea what's going on.

I'll be praying too.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6~

I sent a message to her. It showed on facebook that she was online today, and she changed her status to being glad about seeing someone. But, that was it. No mention of the prayer request. I'm confused. Hopefully she'll message me back and let me know what happened. I'll update if I hear from her.

Oh my, I just heard back from the girl and it's a crazier story than I imagined.
its a long story, but i can tell you.
my sister in law was living alone since my brother was in iraq so she let in someone move in with her. it was a girl she barely knew but she let her move in b.c she needed a place to stay. anyways, the girl started doing some stuff that was bad and stealing from my sister in law. my sister in law got in a fight with her after confronting her, then she kicked her out. they both called the cops on each other, filed legal complaints to the police and they both ended up going to court for it. while in court, they both dropped the claims although the judge gave them 30 days in jail for filing false police reports and made them pay a fine.
my sister in law was pregnant and while in jail ended up going into early labor (3wks early or something like that). she doenst know where they took her nor will they tell her where the baby is at. they wont even give her the medical records. at any rate, we dont know if the baby is still alive and where it is at... they wont let us know anything so we have had to get a lawyer and get all the medical records and are gathering evidence to prove she was pregnant since the jail dept is saying that she was never pregnant nor did she ever deliver a baby. its alll too shady and unrealistic so please pray for them. they are going through a hard time mentally and emotionally. they are both pretty broken about the whole ordeal and the legal system since my brother is in the army and he sees how his wife is being treated by the legal system here. anyways, please pray for them.. thanks dan..

Like with any story a person hears, there could be other details we don't know about... but, this sure is a crazy situation that needs a LOT of prayer. So, please continue to pray for this family
